First off the people saying the owner is not polite probably get offended at something every time they leave their driveway. This place is awesome. We stayed in our 40’ RV 50 and 30 amp electric and water and sewer where at every site. Some of the best views at any campground around. The owner is super nice and accommodating as well. Love this hotel! Great location, clean and spacious room, super friendly owner! The hotel is located inside the state park, and right by the lake. The owner was very helpful in setting up the room, making sure it's warm and cozy in the winter. I also love the fact that we're both from Chicago and were able to connect that way. I would recommend this hotel to whoever is visiting the Porkies, and I'm looking forward to staying here again during my next visit.

This place is definitely a gem. It's away from all hustle and bustle. It has gorgeous lake views as well as breath taking forest views. It is a great place to relax and take in nature in all of its glory. Beach access is a short walk across the street. They also have a small free standing general grocery store. I am in love with this place. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are very comfortable. Great water pressure. Very friendly and helpful staff/owner.

Right in the park and very close to porcupine mountains/lake of the clouds. Owner is super friendly and knowledgeable of the area. They are working on updating and adding to the place so there was construction going on but that didn't bother us. Standing at the hotel you can hear and see the water. Amazing view!! Room was 100$ + tax which was cheaper than any hotels in Iron wood. Would definitely stay here again...
